Technology

Tracer imaging technologies play a critical role in medicine.

Diagnoses made using tracer imaging technologies (currently restricted to radioactive materials) are an essential part of medicine. Patients receive tracer scans for several reasons including measuring heart health, determining if cancer has spread, detecting blood clots or bleeds, checking liver function, and even determining how fast the stomach processes food. Each year, over 30 million scans are taken with the most common nuclear medicine tracer, Tc-99.

MPI technology is tracer imaging without radiation.

Our technology sees a tracer with exceptional sensitivity while not seeing tissue, making it similar to nuclear medicine without using any radioactivity. The end result is we can perform many studies currently done with Tc-99 radiotracer and SPECT or gamma cameras.

Tracer imaging provides diagnoses in nearly every organ system.

MPI technology may address more than 50% of SPECT usage in the US.

MPI Solves Problems in the SLNB Workflow

Without sacrificing efficacy, our MPI technology enables a safe, non-radioactive, and widely deployable SLNB workflow without the added costs associated with nuclear medicine.

With your support, we can move closer to millions of patients around the world gaining access to better imaging without radiation.
